One of Surrey's most historic pubs The White Hart on Godstone Green re-opens today (May 4th) following an extensive refurbishment by new owners Revere.
Situated in the beautiful village of Godstone, the former coaching inn dating back to the 16th century has been meticulously renovated whilst maintaining standout original period features. The grand venue now boasts an extensive restaurant and impressive bar, as well as a central decked courtyard, an intimate terrace and two private dining rooms.
Smoky Josper-grilled steaks, crisp wood-fired pizzas and hearty Sunday roasts will be part of the delicious seasonally changing menu while a selection of hand-crafted cocktails will use the finest spirits and freshest ingredients to create classics, sparkling and mocktails. A wine list of carefully chosen grapes features small producers to big name vineyards that can be sipped bar-side or perfectly paired with food, and craft beers and local ales will be available on draught and by the bottle.
Period fireplaces sit alongside contemporary teal banquettes, copper accents, glowing Edison bulbs and glass cage lighting, creating homely yet chic surroundings that will suit friendly get-togethers, family lunches and intimate dates.
Whether you're a loyal local or day tripper, sink into a chair and soak up the warm and friendly atmosphere at new The White Hart on Godstone Green.
